Programming The Car Key: General

Four different car keys can be programmed for the same car. This means that the immobilization data can consist of 4 different identification codes from key transponders and 4 from the remote controls.

When programming a new car key with the diagnostic tool, all previously programmed keys are deleted. This prevents any unauthorized (stolen) keys being used.
