MacPherson strut
The MacPherson strut comprises coil spring, shock absorber and welded spring seats, steering arm mounting and steering swivel member.
The twin-tube gas pressure shock absorber is not integral with the strut but mounted directly in the strut mounting and can be replaced separately.
The piston is well protected against dirt and damp, which increases its service life. The protection comprises a bellows, which incorporates the bump stop in one unit.
