Fuel Pressure Regulator: Installation

1. Lubricate the fuel pressure regulator "O" ring with petroleum jelly (Vaseline).
2. Install the regulator to the fuel rail and tighten the clamp. See Fig 1 .
3. Install the regulator vacuum hose.
4. Install the charge air pipe with connector and hose. Connect the venturi hose to the charge air pipe.
5. Start the engine and check for leaks.
6. Install the top engine cover.

Install in reverse order.

NOTE: Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly (Vaseline) before installing.
1. Install the regulator and tighten the clamp. See Fig 1 .
2. Connect the vacuum hose.
3. Make sure the system is not leaking.
4. Install the engine cover.
