To Remove

The method is described with the generator removed.

  1. Remove the three bolts/nuts that hold the protective housing on the generator.
  2. Remove the two bolts that hold the regulator and then pull it up.

The generator brushes are mounted on the regulator and the unit is changed as a whole.
