Resetting Limp-Home Solenoid

Connect TECH 2 scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Remove engine cover. Turn ignition on and use scan tool to erase ALL system DTCs. Turn ignition off and wait for at least 10 seconds. Carefully push end of throttle return spring inward towards throttle body. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Turn the black-toothed disc counter-clockwise until you hear a click. Release spring and turn pedal arm (NOT throttle arm) clockwise. Make sure throttle arm does not follow movement of pedal arm. Reinstall engine cover.
