Disarming/unlocking the tailgate: General
Press the BOOT LID button to only disarm/unlock the boot lid. The rest of the arming is not affected. An acoustic confirmation of this function can be programmed.
- If the alarm was armed, the tailgate is now disconnected from the alarm system. The LED flashes quickly if the remainder of the alarm is armed and disarming follows after the delay time.
- When the tailgate is closed, a new delay time (10 sec) begins for the tailgate. Then the alarm is re-armed if the remaining alarm system was armed.
IMPORTANT:
If the ignition is turned on, the tailgate cannot be unlocked using the remote control.
It is not possible to disarm the tailgate using the key. If the tailgate is opened with the key when the alarm is armed, it will be set off.
