A/C Relay

Remove relay. See Fig 1 -Fig 4 . Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage to terminal No. 4 and ground to terminal No. 5. See Fig 5 . Use DVOM to measure resistance between relay terminals No. 1 and 2. If DVOM does not indicate close to 0 ohms, replace relay. If relay operation is as specified, inspect associated wiring for short or open circuits. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Repair wiring as necessary.
