Removal & Installation - 9-5 Series

Raise rear seat cushion and fold back carpet. Remove fuel pump cover. Disconnect upper fuel pump and FTP sensor connectors. DO NOT attempt to unplug electrical connector at fuel pump. Disconnect fuel lines from tank by gently prying yellow retainer hooks aside and pulling up on hoses. Disconnect non-return line at quick-release coupling. Use SST 83 94 462 screw ring removal tool to unbolt fuel pump retainer ring. Lift fuel pump up about 2", then turn clockwise 80 degrees. Carefully remove fuel pump. To reinstall, fit new "O" ring in tank mounting groove. Reverse removal procedure.
