Removal & Installation - 9-3 Series

Raise vehicle on hoist. Disconnect EVAP shut-off valve hose from EVAP canister. Lower vehicle slightly and use compressed air to clean cover over the shut-off valve. Unplug connector and lift shut-off valve upwards. Remove hose from end of valve. To install, reverse removal procedure, making sure that cable opening is aligned properly during reassembly. Spray electrical connector with Kontakt 61 electrical spray. Also make sure that foam rubber filter is not damaged or misaligned while reassembling.
