Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Turn ignition on. Use DVOM to backprobe for voltage between ground and MAP sensor Blue/Brown wire. Use pressure/vacuum pump to apply vacuum/pressure to MAP sensor and check voltage readings. See appropriate MAP SENSOR VOLTAGES table in SENSOR OPERATING RANGE CHARTS article. Replace sensor if voltage is not as specified.
