Limp-Home Solenoid

Remove engine cover. Disconnect limp-home solenoid electrical connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between limp-home solenoid terminals. Resistance should be between 1.5-1.9 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace limp-home solenoid and reset. See RESETTING LIMP-HOME SOLENOID under TESTING & REPAIR PROCEDURE in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
