Speed Signal

Turn ignition off, then on. Disconnect cruise control module. Connect Saab Breakout Box (86 11 329) between cruise control module and cruise control module female connector. Connect test light between ground and breakout box pin No. 10. Turn ignition on. Raise and support front of vehicle. Rotate left front wheel. If test light blinks, check Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS). See appropriate ANTI-LOCK BRAKES SYSTEMS article in BRAKES. If test light does not blink, check for open circuit in Black/Green wire between ABS control module and cruise control module. ABS control module is located in engine compartment, next to brake fluid reservoir. See Fig 1 .
