Anti-theft system consists of a control module under right side of instrument panel, antenna unit under roof in rear view mirror, glass breakage sensor in dome light, LED on dashboard, hood switch, horn, and remote control.

Anti-theft alarm system has limited self-diagnostic capabilities. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read only by using a scan tool connected to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel, next to steering column.

Anti-theft system is available in 2 versions: anti-theft alarm and anti-theft alarm with VSS (Vehicle Security System). Anti-theft alarm with VSS incorporates an immobilizing function which prevents unauthorized vehicle start. Standard anti-theft alarm is available factory or dealer installed. Anti-theft alarm with VSS is only available factory installed.
