Measurement Data (Electronic Control Module Connections)
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Saab 900, 1997 Saab 900, 1996 Saab 900, 1995 Saab 900, and 1994 Saab 900. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
This section contains figures and instructions for the measuring of voltage levels on the ICE electronic control module. See Fig 1 .
Remember:
- If nothing else is stated, all voltage measuring should be carried out with all components connected and with the ignition switch in drive position.
- The measuring should be carried out with the Breakout Box (BOB) connected between the electronic control module and the electronic control module's connector.
- Some of the measuring should be carried out with the engine running.
- Some voltage levels must be seen as guidance figures. Use common sense when assessing whether a measurement result is right or wrong.
- If a measurement result is wrong, use the electric wiring diagram to find out which cables, connectors or components need further investigation.
