"ACTIVATE" Command Menu

NOTE: When a system function is activated with the ISAT, the MOTRONIC control module is made to do something that it would not otherwise do in the course of its normal operation. This may cause diagnostic trouble codes to be generated in other systems which are dependent on the MOTRONIC system.
Activation of a system function should only be done with the ignition switch in the Drive position and the gear selector lever in neutral. On activation with a gear selected, the ISAT display should show SHIFT TO NEUTRAL.

IMPORTANT: The activate functions should always be used with discretion.

Always deactivate an activated function before proceeding further in the ISAT menu.
Always clear any fault codes generated in the MOTRONIC system, or in any other system, when you are through with fault diagnosis.

1	EVAP VALVE ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the EVAP canister purge valve relay and the valve operates.
2	IAC VALVE ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the IAC valve.
3	AC RELAY ON/OFF ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the A/C relay.
4	SECOND. AIR RELAY ON/OFF ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the secondary air injection pump relay and the pump starts.
5	IGNITION CYL. 1-4 ON/OFF ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the ignition coil for cylinders 1-4.
6	IGNITION CYL. 2-5 ON/OFF ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the ignition coil for cylinders 2-5.
7	IGNITION CYL. 3-6 ON/OFF ACTIVE 0.5 Hz/30 s	The MOTRONIC control module activates the ignition coil for cylinders 3-6.
8	CHECK ENGINE ON/OFF ON OFF	The MOTRONIC control module activates the CHECK ENGINE function.
