Removal & Installation

Remove distributor cap with wiring attached. Unplug harness connector from distributor. Remove mounting bolts and distributor. To install, rotate distributor shaft until drive tang aligns with slot on camshaft. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation. Adjust ignition timing. See ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
