900 Non-Turbo

NOTE: References to wire colors for A/C clutch relays, refer to connector wires.
  1. Remove relay from relay panel. Relay panel is located under hood, on left side.
  2. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87B (Red wire). Replace relay if continuity exists.
  3. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87 (Green wire). Replace relay if continuity exists.
  4. Connect 12 volts to relay terminal No. 86 (Blue wire). Connect terminal No. 85 (Black wire) to ground. Relay should click.
  5. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87B (Red wire). Replace relay if there is no continuity.
  6. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87 (Green wire). Replace relay if there is no continuity.
