Mass Airflow Meter

This sensor measures mass airflow of air entering the engine intake system. It is located between the air cleaner and throttle body. After the engine is shut off, the fuel injection ECU sends a signal to the sensor filament to heat it for 4 seconds to burn off any deposits, provided that engine speed has been greater than 2000 RPM.
