Fuel Pump Relay
- Turn ignition off. Unplug fuel injection ECU connector. Ground ECU harness connector harness terminals No. 20 (Yellow/White wire) and No. 21 (Violet wire). If fuel pump runs, fuel pump relay is okay. If fuel pump does not run, go to step 2).
- Remove jumper wires. Remove fuel pump relay. Relay is located on right kick panel, behind trim. Check for voltage at relay socket terminal No. 86 (Brown/White wire). If no voltage, repair Brown/White wire to main relay, or go to MAIN RELAY .
- Check for voltage at relay socket terminal No. 30 (Red wire). If no voltage, repair Red wire to main battery junction on battery bracket.
- Reinstall relay. Connect DVOM to relay terminal No. 87B (Green/Red wire) and ground. Using a jumper wire, ground terminal No. 85 (Violet wire). Replace relay if DVOM does not indicate battery voltage.
