Fuel System Pressure Release

WARNING: ALWAYS relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT  allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.

To relieve fuel pressure, remove fuel pump fuse. On 900 models, the fuse box is located on left side of engine compartment. Fuel pump fuse is No. 30 (20-amp fuse). On 9000 models, fuses are located behind panel inside the glove compartment. Fuel pump fuse is No. 14 (20-amp fuse). Start engine and let run until engine stalls. Turn ignition off. Replace fuse.
