Time-Delay Relay
Cars for "hot-weather markets" are also equipped with a time-delay relay, which limits the time the radiator fan will run after the engine has been switched off. Relay 26 will be energized when temperature switch 39 has closed. When the engine is switched off, the +15V supply to the relay coil will be interrupted. After about 10 minutes, the relay will trip the supply to the fan motor, even if temperature switch 39 is still closed. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
