Disc Brake Pads: Installation

Clean surfaces between pad carrier. Fit pads and pivot caliper body back to its normal position. Refit and tighten bolt in lower guide pin. Replace wheel and lower vehicle. Pump brake pedal several times to adjust pads.



  1. Remove caliper screw plug from hand brake adjusting screw and screw caliper piston into caliper body by means of the adjusting screw.
  2. Install pads and caliper. Install guide pins and dust caps. Install hand brake retaining spring. Adjust hand brake and install wheel.
