Fuel Injectors

  1. Disconnect ECU and air mass meter connectors. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between ECU terminal No. 13 and fuel pump relay terminal No. 87 on 900 Series, test connector in engine compartment on 9000 Series. Resistance should be 4 ohms. If resistance is not to specification, go to next step to check each injector individually.
  2. Unplug injector connectors. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance across injector terminals. Refer to INJECTOR RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not to specification, replace injector. If resistance is to specification, go to next step.

  3. Check wiring from ECU terminal No. 13 to injector connectors. Check wiring between fuel pump relay terminal No. 87 (BLU/RED wire) and injector connectors. Repair wiring as necessary.
