Turbo Pressure Switch

  1. On 900 models, disconnect ECU connector. On all models, connect Pressure Gauge (83 93 514) to outlet on intake manifold for hose to pressure switch. Connect a pressure tester to "Y" fitting on pressure gauge.
  2. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 86 of fuel pump relay and terminal No. 87 on system relay. DO NOT touch other terminals as this may cause shorting. Raise pressure to approximately 14 psi (1.0 kg/cm2 ). Pressure switch should open. If switch does not open, replace pressure switch.
