Clutch is single dry plate, diaphragm spring type. Components consist of riveted lining clutch disc, pressure plate assembly and release bearing. Clutch operation is hydraulic. Pedal activates master cylinder, connected by flex hose, to slave cylinder.

Slave cylinder is inside clutch cover, around input shaft, and acts directly on release bearing. Clutch adjustment is automatic. On 5-speed models, clutch hub is equipped with a pre-damper.
