Limp-Home Mode Test

  1. Connect voltmeter between Gray/Red and Violet/White terminals of limp-home test connector. These will be terminals No. 1 and 2 on the 900 models and Nos. 2 and 3 on the 9000 Turbo. See Fig 1 . Start engine. If system is operating properly, meter will read less than one volt.

  2. If system is operating in limp-home mode, meter will indicate battery voltage. If battery voltage is indicated, proceed to AIR MASS METER test.
