Mixture Control Unit
- On most models, top of mixture control unit must be removed to extract mixture screw plug or steel ball which blocks access opening. Tap plug or ball out with pin punch.
- Clean around all fuel line connections. Remove fuel lines. Wipe up any spilled fuel. Disconnect electrical wiring. Remove rubber boot to manifold. Remove Allen screws. Lift off mixture control unit.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace gaskets and seals. Check for leaks after installation.
