Cruise Control Switch

  1. Disconnect 4-pin wiring connector below instrument panel, to left of steering column. Connect battery voltage to Brown wire of switch connector. Use test lamp on each terminal to check continuity of wire harness and switch.
  2. With cruise control switch in "OFF" position, lamp should glow on Green wire terminal. Lamp should not glow on Red and Yellow wire terminals.
  3. With switch in "ON" position, lamp should not glow on Yellow wire terminal.
  4. With switch in "RESUME" position, lamp should glow on all three terminals. With "SET" button depressed, lamp should glow on Red and Yellow sire terminals, but not on Green wire terminal.
  5. If testing procedure does not produce outlined results, replace cruise control switch.
