Checking Fluid Level

  1. With vehicle on level floor, place selector lever in "P" position. Apply parking brake and start engine. Allow engine to idle. Remove dipstick, wipe clean, replace, and remove again.
  2. With engine at normal operating temperature, fluid level should be between "MINI HOT" and "MAXI HOT" marks. With fluid level at ambient temperatures, level should be between "MINI COLD" marks.
