Solenoid Valve

Solenoid valve is located between intake manifold vacuum outlet and vacuum diaphragm unit. Its purpose is to open and close vacuum line connected to vacuum diaphragm unit, thereby causing vacuum diaphragm unit to pull on the carburetor accelerated idle linkage and to release accelerated idle linkage when required.
