Installing Front Lid Proximity Sensor Control Unit

Information 

• Bonding surfaces must be free of silicone, grease and oil residues. 

1. Remove adhesive residues using cleaning agent.
2. Clean the marked area -1-  with isopropanol and rub it dry using a lint-free, moisture-absorbing cloth.

3. Clean the marked area -1-  with isopropanol and rub it dry using a lint-free, moisture-absorbing cloth.

4. Attach adhesive pad -2-  to proximity sensor control unit -1-  .

5. Install proximity sensor control unit.

   1. 5.1 Pull backing sheet off the adhesive pad and press proximity sensor control unit onto the marked area -1-  .
   2. 5.2. Press on proximity sensor control unit from the inside out in order to squeeze out bubbles.
6. Check proximity sensor control unit.
   1. 6.1 Check that there are no bubbles.
   2. 6.2. Check that the corners are affixed correctly.
   3. 6.3. Press them on again if necessary.
7. Further installation is performed in reverse order.

   Electric plug connections must engage securely.
