DTC U0046-87: Vehicle Communication Bus C - Missing Message: Action

NOTE: This DTC refers to a CAN bus communications failure, DO NOT replace the blind spot monitoring control module

Using the Jaguar Land Rover Approved Diagnostic Equipment, check the snapshot data (0xD020 and 0xFD70) to determine the missing message source control module. Check the relevant control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform a CAN network integrity test. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the high speed CAN network (chassis) between the relevant control module (i.e. as indicated by the snapshot data) and the blind spot monitoring control module
