DTC B1C84-14: Heated Rear Window Relay Output - Circuit short to ground or open: Action

NOTE:
To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the routine - On Demand Self Test. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be logged within the body control module. Alternatively run the engine for 30 seconds and check the heated rear window function, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer logged within the body control module
- Replace the heated rear window relay as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the heated rear window relay circuit for short circuit to ground, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
