DTC B1115-15: High Mounted Stop Lamp control - Circuit short to battery or open: Action

NOTE:
To validate the repair use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to perform the routine - On Demand Self Test. If the repair is successful this DTC will no longer be logged. Then check the high mounted stop lamp function with the engine running and use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check that the DTC is no longer logged in the body control module.
- Replace the high mounted stop lamp bulb (where fitted)
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the high mounted stop lamp circuit for short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new high mounted stop lamp as necessary
