- Check the deployable sidestep motor connections for security and integrity. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the deployable sidestep motor stow or deploy circuit(s) for short circuit to power, short circuit to ground or short circuit to another circuit. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTC and retest
