DTC C1005-93: Left Power Running Board Deploy - No operation: Action

- Check the security and integrity of the deployable sidestep motor circuit connectors and rectify as required
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the deployable sidestep motor circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- Check the deployable sidestep hinge for dirt and debris, wash the step if necessary
- Remove the step plank and check the deployable sidestep front hinge for free movement. If movement is restricted, replace the deployable sidestep front hinge
- Operate the deployable sidestep motor (the motor should still operate correctly without the step plank fitted). If the motor movement is restricted, renew the deployable sidestep motor. Clear DTC and retest
