DTC B1538-53: Electrically Deployable Tow Bar Movement Motor - Deactivated: Action

- Check the security and integrity of the deployable towbar circuit connectors and rectify as required
- Check the deployable towbar for mechanical failure and rectify as required
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (0x205E) - to reactivate the deployable towbar movement motor. Clear DTC and retest
- If fault persists, using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the correct deployable towbar control module software is installed and rectify as required
