Possible Causes

NOTE:
This DTC is set when the electric park brake actuators are in known but inconsistent position states. For example, left electric park brake actuator in the applied position and right electric park brake actuator in the releases position.
- Left electric park brake actuator circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Right electric park brake actuator circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Harness failure
- Insufficient flexibility of the electric park brake wiring harness which may have compromised the integrity of the wiring harness and/or associated connectors
- Left electric park brake actuator mechanical failure
- Right electric park brake actuator mechanical failure
- Rear left brake caliper mechanical failure
- Rear right brake caliper mechanical failure
