DTC P0A1A-87: Generator Control Module - Missing message: Action

- Check the installation of the primary battery terminal clamps. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the generator high current circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the LIN bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using JLR approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new generator
