Removing Glow Control Unit

  1. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
  2. Remove filler neck from the windscreen-washer reservoir -1-  .
    1. 2.1. Unscrew fastening screws -2-  .
    2. 2.2. Pull filler neck out of the windscreen-washer reservoir and remove it.

  3. Unscrew fastening screws -1, 2 and 4-  and remove cover -3-  on the fuse box.

  4. Release electric plug connections -A-  and set them aside.

    Removing DME control unit 

    The glow control unit is replaced without a teaching procedure.

  5. Pull glow control unit -1-  out of the plenum panel E-box.
