Preparing Bonding Surfaces: Degrease

To prevent possible grease residue from spreading onto the surface when grinding down the surface until bare at a later stage, the bonding surfaces must be cleaned using a lint-free cloth soaked in acetone.

The bare bonding flange areas must then be cleaned using a lint-free cloth soaked in acetone.

Leave cleaned surfaces to dry off for approx. 5 - 10 minutes; bonding surfaces must be completely dry.
