Removing And Installing DME Control Unit

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

Information 

The DME control unit can be secured with shear-off nuts, depending on the country. Loosen shear-off nuts using > 9259 - socket-wrench insert  .

1. Unscrew and remove screw -2  -.
2. Unscrew nuts -3  - and remove DME control unit -1  -.

3. Disconnect electric plug connections -4  - and remove DME control unit -1  -.

4. Unscrew screws -5  - and remove DME control unit -1  - from the holder -6  -.

5. Installation is performed in reverse order.
