Installing hall sender

Information 

Tightening torques, tightening sequence and assembly overviews for the engine and transmission:

• Group 1: →  1X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES 
• Group 2: →  2X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES 
• Group 3: →  3X00IN TECHNICAL VALUES 

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical.

1. Carefully install camshaft hall sender.
   1. 1.1. Clean the sealing face.
   2. 1.2. Check O-ring and replace it if necessary.
   3. 1.3. Use new aluminum screw.
   4. 1.4. Tightening torque for aluminum screw: Initial tightening 4 Nm (3 ft lb.) Final tightening +60° 
   5. 1.5. Plug in electric connector and lock it.

      The connector must lock with an audible click.
