DTC P0605-41: Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) Error - General checksum failure: Action

Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, open Guided Diagnostics then select Powertrain - Transmission and Driveline - High or Low Range Selection
Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, select the DTC associated Guided Diagnostics to facilitate a TCCM EEPROM memory reset or software update, as appropriate. The Guided Diagnostics will subsequently test the system and report a DTC if a fault persists
If the fault persists, install a new transfer case control module and configure as a new module. Refer to the Transfer Case Control Module Replacement Application instructions in the relevant Diagnosis and Testing Section For additional information, refer to: DIAGNOSTICS (307-01 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Diagnosis and Testing).
