Unscrew fastening screws -1- on rear cover -2- .

Release control unit -1- at position and pull it forward slightly.

Lift paddles -2- up and off.

Unclip rear trims at positions using a suitable thin tool (e.g. feeler gauge).

Only for heated steering wheel: Release electric plug connection -1- from the rear trim at the 6 o'clock position -2- and disconnect it.

Unscrew fastening screws -1- for the multi-functional switch -2- and front trim -3- .

Disconnect connector -1- from connector lugs.

Release electric plug connection -1- for wire harness -2- from the control unit -3- and disconnect it. On vehicles with heated steering wheel, the electric plug connection for the heated steering wheel must also be loosened at the control unit.

Release wire harness -1- at positions from the steering wheel skeleton -2- and remove it.
