Maintenance Service Reminder Reset - Procedure 03

NOTE: The PIWIS Tester instructions take precedence since the description may be different with later Tester releases.

NOTE: If the engine oil is replaced during maintenance work, the service interval must be reset.

Start the PIWIS Tester II 9818 and follow the instructions on the Tester
Select vehicle type and start the PIDT.
Select the Instrument Cluster menu and press F12.
Select the Maintenance/Repairs menu.
Select the Reset Service Interval menu and press F12.
Select the maintenance work that was carried out (tick the relevant boxes) and press F12
Select the engine variant and start the Reset function by pressing F8. Press F12 to continue.
Quit the menu, shut down the PIWIS Tester and disconnect it from the vehicle.
