Vehicle level sensor, rear right: Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: If a vehicle level sensor or the level control module is replaced, it must be calibrated using the 9588 Porsche System Tester II.

DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

1	Check wiring between rear right vehicle level sensor and level control module for short circuit to B+	Switch off ignition. Pull plugs A and B off level control module. Pull plug off rear right vehicle level control sensor. Switch on ignition. Measure voltage between level control module plug A 'pins 66, 74' and ground and plug B 'pin 91' and ground.	< 0.3 V Go to Step 2	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
2	Check wiring between rear right vehicle level sensor and level control module for short circuit to ground	Switch off ignition. Measure resistance between level control module plug A 'pins 66, 74' and ground and plug B 'pin 91' and ground.	∞ Ω Go to Step 3	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
3	Check wiring between rear right vehicle level sensor and level control module for open circuit	Measure resistance between level control module plug A 'pins 66, 74' and rear right vehicle level control sensor plug 'pins 5, 1 'and plug B 'pin 91' and rear right level control sensor plug 'pin 6'.	< 5 Ω Go to Step 5	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
4	Re-calibrate level control module Calibrating level control module, refer to 43 K2 CALIBRATION - AS OF MY 2003 (ALL MODELS EXCEPT CAYENNE S TIO TITAN) .		→ End	Go to Step 5
