Tensioning roller with spacer ring

Undo at the hexagon (wrench size: 24) and simultaneously counter at the hexagon-head bolt

Tightening torque 60 Nm (44 ft.lb) Counter at the hexagon-head bolt when tightening. (wrench size: 15)

2⁽¹⁾

Hexagon-head bolt (micro-encapsulated)

Not necessary for removal and installation of the tensioning roller.
The hexagon head bolt can be removed only after the belt tensioner or bracket has been loosened.

Apply a thin coat of screw locking lacquer to the thread of the hexagon head bolt. See ⁽²⁾

⁽¹⁾	For explanation see Fig 1

⁽²⁾	Either the screw locking lacquer Loctite 242 "Mittelfest" (medium strength) or Loctite 270 "Hochfest" (high strength) can be used. If screw locking lacquer 270 is used, coat only the first four threads.
