Code 1113: Full Throttle Switch Short Circuit To Ground

  1. Disconnect DME control unit. Connect a DVOM between terminal No. 24 (ground) and terminal No. 53 (full throttle switch). See Figure . With throttle valve closed, ohmmeter reading should be infinite.
  2. With throttle valve at least 2/3 open, reading should be less than 10 ohms. If readings are incorrect, measure resistance directly at full throttle switch and adjust if necessary. Refer to the ADJUSTMENTS article.
