Combination Switch: Removal

  1. Ensure front wheels are in straight-ahead position. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Remove steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL & HORN PAD  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove steering column trim panel.
  2. Disconnect contact unit electrical connectors. Remove screws securing contact unit to combination switch. Remove contact unit. Disconnect combination switch electrical connectors. Remove combination switch from steering column.
